When you read a novel, did you ever think you could write/edit better than author/editor? I had that thought five times last two days. This still shocks me.
First novel - quite a few continuity errors, grammatical errors, an elephantine plot hole, and a seemingly important sub-plot that never went anywhere.
Second novel - the writing is so sub-standard that it left me speechless. I really wanted to know the editor’s name so that I could avoid all books edited by that editor. I still want to know, actually.
