  2. I’m sure there’s a common statement about having to suffer to be beautiful, and while I don’t think that’s necessarily true with regards to people, it does seem to be true when it comes to redecorating homes.

    @Laura lol! Oh, my goodness. The house is driving me up wall. It got so bad one time that I casually asked W whether it’d be a good idea to move again. His look basically killed that idea dead. :D

    If he hadn’t, you might have moved, started decorating, hit the same part-way-through-decorating-angst, and moved again. You could have got into a vicious circle which created a trail of abandoned home-decorating projects across the south of England, each left at just the right stage to drive the new owners up those unpapered walls after just a few days in residence. :D
