Question: Authors similar to Lucy Walker, Essie Summers and Iris Bromige

There is a question from Diane, who left this under Books: old Mills & Boon romance novels:

I love Lucy Walker and Essie Summers books. I also love Iris Bromige books too. I have read as many of the books by these authors as I could get my hands on. I wish I could discover another author that measures up to these three. Any suggestions?

I haven’t a clue. Lucy Walker was one of my favourites during my teens so I’d love to know as well.
