This list is mostly to humiliate myself into getting off my arse and finish them.

A selection of pending reviews:

  • What Would Jane Austen Do - Lauren Brown
  • Mission Flats - William Landay (for Keishon)
  • Boneshaker - Cheryl Cherie Priest (thanks for the correction, Preeti)
  • The Wild Road – Marjorie M. Liu
  • A Burning Desire Inside My Gaze - Justine Tanaka
  • Ice Man – KyAnn Waters
  • Beautiful Creatures - Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl
  • Private Arrangements - Sherry Thomas
  • The China Garden – Liz Berry (re-read)
  • The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo – Stieg Larsson
  • Wolf Signs - Vivian Arend (deaf heroine)
  • Rain Fall – Barry Eisler
  • See How She Dies – Lisa Jackson

Nearly done:

  • Night Falls Darkly – Kim Lenox
  • Zero at the Bone - Jane Seville
  • St. Nacho’s – Z.A. Maxfield (deaf romantic interest)
  • Turning Japanese - Cathy Yardley
  • Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter: Guilty Pleasures, vol. 1 – Laurell K. Hamilton (possibly the worst English comic adaptation in years)

I have decided not to review Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander. We all know what I would say, so there’s no point to write a review. No pleasure in reviewing something I completely dislike, either. I have also decided not review Ginn Hale’s Wicked Gentlemen and Z.A. Maxfield’s ePistols at Dawn. Still not sure about Soulless.

  1. I read *Outlander* all the way through. I know, truly brave or truly stupid, I can’t decide.

  2. Brave. Or a reader with great stamina. :D

  3. My vote’s for finishing the Kim Lenox review. I have two books from her saved b/c blurb looked interesting but haven’t actually moved them into my short-stack TBR pile. Should I?

Also, author of BONESHAKER first name spelled ‘Cherie’ (if you care about typos.)

  4. Hm… I have mixed feelings. It started well, but then… I don’t know what exactly went wrong. I think it was my mood that affected my reading enjoyment. Will shift the review up higher. Thanks for motivating me. :D

    Thanks for the Cheryl/Cherie correction.
