I do wonder if the right-hand side is a bit empty, making the woman look just a little bit close to the edge of the page. Perhaps you could balance her with something on the right-hand side of the page. Given that you’ve cleverly arranged the “Pride & Prejudice” to look a bit like a set of scales, or a see-saw, and pride comes before a fall, how about putting in a heart or something, descending towards the other end of the “Pride” so that she’s about to be toppled off her seat?
Like I said, I evidently invent little stories to go with cover pictures. Whether they’re any help in cover design, I leave it to you to decide!
